Hi everybody! I thought we should definitely be sharing our recipes. I'm not sure how to make a new board just for recipes, but I'm sure if we get a bunch going we can separate them into categories. Hopefully we'll get a wide range - from vegetarian main dishes, nourishing traditions style cooking, canning and preserving tips, etc.A lot of us are full-dieting it, and I know that means more homemade sauces, bread-products, etc for us. If you use a great recipe or technique you find useful, post a link and help your fellow farmers out! Thanks so much!

Kale Chips
All day long! Tear kale into pieces, toss with olive oil (rubbing oil in the frilly parts makes them perfect), spread on baking sheet in more or less one layer, sprinkle with salt (smoked salt is deeeelicious) and bake 15-20 min till crunchy.

Steak Marinade
2 parts Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 part orange juice, garlic clove minced, onion chopped, a few chile peppers, salt and pepper. Marinate at least 30 minutes, pat dry before frying, grilling. The onions and chile peppers and garlic can be sauteed in oil or butter 'till soft, then add tomatoes or tomato puree for a sauce to go over rice to accompany.
